Cool

Silly question...

I assume that this runs on the PSX 2 and not the PSX 1?

Just got my copy, want to bunk off work but shouldn't, you don't have to save any money for a Scoob, buy GT3 from Electronics Boutique as they are doing a package with a cheat disk for £49 - access all tracks, cars, licences etc straight out the box.

It's going to be a loooooong night.
My new girlfriends going to be a bit upset!!!!

Going rate for a PS2, special reserve are doing:

PS2, DVD remote, GT3, 2 official controllers. scart lead and official 8mb card for £299.99

You then need to join either £6.99 for a year or £1 trial membership for one order.

Hmv said you cant get the wheel on it's own until next month ???
I wanted one now but already have the game from Tesco's....

Is this correct, or is anywhere other than Special reserve doing it on it's own ?

Question

Is that the steering wheel and the game for £60........surely not??

I just bought the wheel and GT3 for £105

Make sure that Special Reserve price £60 includes the game. If it does then you have got a good price!!

Of course, you can always do what I did if you already have the game :-

Go into somewhere offering the Game & Wheel deal and persuade the hapless assistant to swap it for you ;-)

Thanks Hanslow,

Must admit, as someone who owns RR3 & recently bought F1 2001 (Big mistake, I know!), I was a might upset to realise that the wheel is USB and therefore won't work with any other game except GT3.

Of course that didn't stop me buying it ;-)

I intend to flog off the other two games now that GT3 has arrived anyway, so I'm not too bothered...

I played GT3 today on a PS2 and thought it was utter rubbish! No illusion of speed, boring, too easy to win, lousy graphics etc etc.

Colin McRae Rally 2 on the PC is much, much better. Even TOCA 2 (PC) leaves GT3 for dead...

Just got meself a WRX STI with 440BHP ,
(thats on GT3). Im kicking some serious butt.

I have completed 15% already !!!

Its definetly not easy, switch ASM, TCS, off and use the professional steering setting, and try driving the proffesional levels. the licences were easy, struggle to get Gold.

Just brought the PS2 into work tonight, gonna fix it up to our Digital projector and soundsystem.

Go on then, dish out the tips - what's the fastest way to get cash? I'm still bozzing round in a 165bhp VW Beetle (only bought the PS2 at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, came home with it and had to go out all evening at 6 o'clock!!)

I don't seem to be able to get the sequential shifter on the steering wheel to work ???? anyone else have this wheel....??? works fine in F1 2001 ... just seems that GT3 won't let you assign the correct buttons

Know exactly how you feel Blackscooby!

Does anyone else think Toonman has got his PS2 connected to a 11" black and white set? How can anyone possibly call the graphics crap???
