I have to say the actual number of pledges has been very dissapointing so far. I assume (hope) that everyone is going to to make their pledges today and have just not got round to it yet.
The total so far is approaching £4K from about 129 people.. which is (whilst we are really proud of the people who have supported us (and the kiddies) so far) quite pathetic when you consider the size and financial average of this community.
I is really important that all this hard work pays off in us being able to show what a great and powerful bunch we are.

I haven't done so yet.
I gather the attempt is to beat 15 mins. Therefore I'll pledge £20 for the first 15 mins, thereafter I'll add another £2 to every minute achieved past 15. If you reach 20mins I'll add another £10 as well.
Simon, once you smash the world record remember you can take it easy , there is no point in annihilating the record so that nobody else can have a cats chance in beating yours...mainly cos I don't fancy sitting down with my bank manager saying the reason why I need a loan is to pay for my pledge
