Just wondering can you get a mobile signal (more specifically WAP coverage) out in the wilds of Wales?
Had an idea but want to know if it is a stupid one

Certain areas you can and some you can't. I don't think you can at Sweet Lamb, in Hafren Forest...

I did in Sweet Lamb with Vodafone.

By the way Sweet Lamb was the best Fireworks Display.

Cool

never got any reception anywhere on Orange in the sunny Welsh forests last year - best bet for reliability is Vodafone I reckon.

definitely gonna go this year, if that git Makkinen hasn't already won the championship by then. last year was an absolute hoot!

Sal.

You shouldn't have a problem this year.As it's not going to be in the wilds of Wales only in the Vale of Neath

I know it's been answered already, but I can confirm Vodafone and One2One coverage - in the most bizarre places you wouldn't expect (e.g. down the bottom of a valley in mid-Wales, about 15 miles south of Rhayader).

Quite impressive - is it really the sort of event where you can justify it as a corporate jolly? Good work if you can!

Have this morning driven from Caernarfon to Cardiff. Coverage was patchy through Snowdonia but once at Cemmaes the coverage is fairly constant all the way down to Cardiff. This was on Orange .

As far Neath , that should not pose a problem with any networks.
