I have a chance to put my Scoob on the casting couch and be a part of FAF2, but they're asking for me to stump up the shipping costs (which are estimated at £2k)

Surely a big budget film would have enough to ship across the only European car in the movie, and thus be unique, since there are no Scoobs in the film yet !

I'd have to give her up for 3 weeks too.

Hence why I was asking for sponsorship to pay for the shipping since this would be a unique opportunity to represent Scoobies on screen, they don't have any at present.
The Director also doesn't guarantee length of time on screen, so it could be 5 secs, could be 5 mins.

 

Don't they have to be painted a really gaudy colour and be covered in graphics to appear in TFATF??

 

Be careful as it may invalidate your warranty...

 

Your car also needs 4 amps, 10 sub-woofers and 2x100bhp bottles of NOS. Surely all the extra weight of that music setup would mean you would need about 2000bhp to do a 10 second 1/4.

 

Yeah, the lairy graphics are the only thing that's worrying me....and also the inevitable chase scene at the end leading to a "race the locomotive and jump the gap" sequence !


Slight change to the car soon too, currently negotiating a P1 lip spoiler.......

Now, how can you not want this car on screen ?!

 

Or they could just ask to get a real P1 for the film

 

Or a 22B although even that wouldn't probably be in your face enough and the rear spoiler needs to be about 3 times bigger. A credit card bashing at Veilside or similiar should do the trick.

The best thing about making contact with the organisers directly mean that you can get correct and up to date info.

If this project gets going, I have confirmation that logos on my car ARE allowed as long as the third parties sign a release form for the Film Co to use their images.

It's a MY00 Euro-import, UK spec
Subaru UK never released any in Sonic Blue other than the P1, which is why it's pretty rare in 4dr in the Uk.
