Can someone tell me the differencs between a standard STi and a Type R V Limited?

I think the STI has a red exhaust manifold and pink grill badge and the V-Ltd does not.

Why, want to buy a V-Ltd by any chance. Seems to be a lot of questions relating to V-Ltd all of a sudden.

 

Off the top of my head:

1. Type R is a two door - everything else is a 4 door (except the P1 of course)

2. It has (but is open to debate) a closed deck block, a different exhaust manifold and stronger internals

3. An adjustable centre diff

4. A roof vent

5. Intercooler Water Spray

6. Shorter gearing (?)

The Type R/RA is lighter 'cos it's not got Aircon, Electric Windows or Radio whereas the V-Limited does have these things.

I'm not sure if you can get a Type R V-Limited but you can deff. get a Type RA V-Limited....

I almost forgot (well I did but there you go ), on the RA and I think the R, you get a quicker steering rack (13:1 instead of 15:1) which is really <B><I>nice</I></B>

The type R does not have the "quick rack", that only comes on the RA and 22B as standard.

The V ltd also has the mechanical LSD at the rear.
