Was told prodrive are working on a UK301 or will this be the 2002 model. The guy who saw it said there was alot of work been done to the front including ss mesh behind grill.

He may have seen the rally car and been told something else, or are they doing a UK301?

 

Well UK300 stood for UK market series of 300 cars. So I don't believe a car called the UK301 will be released.
I'm sure prodrive will be working on the STI7 for the UK market at some point, maybe they were tinkering with one when your mate spied it?

Or perhaps it was that Rover ZS thingy on top gear last night - Peter Stevens designed the spoiler, and that had mesh

 

a friend of mine was told last week by a dealer that Prodrive are working on a P1 engined new age. ,possibly it is this.
