Question

.........on Speedtraps.

The idea is if you know of any type of speedtrap, fixed or mobile, there will be a dedicated place where we can post a quick note of its position, for the information of other. It can't be posted in one of the other forums as it will disappear of the bottom of the list after a few days of not being updated and I reckon it should be easily accessible.

What do you all think / can you help? Moderators?

A mate of mine thought of setting up a website just for this, where users could update the database themselves to keep it current. I don't know how many people would use it but I could still do it. We also thought of having db downloads for PDAs and GPSs.

Interesting idea steve that way anyone (not just Scooby owners) could contribute to it, but I'm not sure on how legal that is freedom of speech and all that.

This is how the Geodesy speed trap detection works fyg folks - it's a dash mounted GPS system which has the location of speedtraps fed into it from a central database.
Costs a wee bit though (£380ish)
