I'm after a early ish 2.0 <B>Sport</B> or possibly a 2.0 Gl if I can't find a Sport, Trouble is, I can't bloody find any, I've tried autotrader, loot and fish4cars, anyone any more suggestions.. what about ex fleet??

I've seen a couple of Sports, but they are approx £1000 above my price range .

I suppose i could stretch to 5k ish, but moneys short till winter

Have you tried the "Used Car" section of the Subaru UK website???

 

You could try topmarques.co.uk, I think it's higher end cars and something to do with Autotrader as they look extreamly similar.

I think dealers still want 5k ish for 1.8GL's ... they reckoned the K-reg wreck of a Just I had as a courtesy car the other day was worth £3k !!

True dealers still want £5k plus for 1.8's, I've found quite a few Nice 1.8s often owned by "mature" drivers and low mileage, these are often up for between £3k - £5k, but 4000 would buy a nice N Reg from the ones I've looked at. However these are just too underpowered for me.

The 2.0GL and Sport have the same engine, and whilst they are no Road Rocket, they are comfortably nippy and around Golf GTI territory.

I've seen a few turbo's around the 5k to 6k Mark, and if it weren't for the insurance I'd have snapped em up... but 2.0 Non Turbo's.. Rare as rocking horse mate!!
