a good mod would be to buy an old 1 litre nova merit why waste anymore cash on such a ****e car surely you all wasted enough buying a scooby in the first place
Or for the more sports orientated member like spaxo boy sorry saxo boy a Yugo Zstava would be a very feisty upgrade maybe with some sports bumpers as more cash became available

I tend to agree with Cosie, sorry cossie, cosie that's something you put on a tea pot is'nt it.

Buy a 1 Litre Nova, drive it all week then get back in the cossie killing scoob and it will seem seriously fast compared.

dont put the dawes thingy on your import, been told its no a good idea on imports.

£300, look a down pipe or back box or induction kit, but make sure everything else is A1 to start with, or save this months £300 & add it to next months spare & again & again until you have enough for a decatted exhaust including down pipe & induction kit, then look at brakes, then a boost gauge before looking at upping the boost.

Cheers for the advice guys. Well the constructive one's anyway.

Cossie.....what can I say? I've seen your previous posts and you just seem to like stiring things up. My advice to you.......

Stop living in the past. Get rid of that poorly built, unreliable and much too dated shed and upgrade yourself to a real car.

I'm getting under my desk now!

I think you need to decide what you are initially trying to achieve. I mean do you want to accelerate harder, stop quicker, improve looks etc.

For me the biggest grin, by far, was achieved by changing the rear silencer (Scoobysport in my case, but only one of many excellent options). The performance improvement was negligible but the noise....the noise!!!

Well, I guess that I want to improve the overall smootness of the drive. The brakes are OK for the minute so a bit more performance wouldn't go a miss.
