Was in Germany and did just over 1200 miles of driving (mostly on Autobahns) with lots of "smile miles" and got an average of 18 MPG using SUL. Did one tank at nothing more than 100mph and got 24 MPG.

Edited to say its an MY02 STi with about 8000 miles on the clock

I know Scoobys are juicy but can this be right?
£40 of shell optimax thats 50.70 litres. Only 226 miles, normal driving with occasional blast.
Before buying the scooby(MY96 WRX standard) i owend a Saphire cossie 320bhp,green injectors etc etc it was far more economical.
This is just a question not a moan,as i am well impressed with the scooby and intend on a few mods, just wondering if i need to re-mortgage to run it??

That's economy I dream of!
I'm used to getting 170 miles to 55 litres. Looks like the fuel bill will drop when I get the scooby!

Hey Waggy, you know you are going to use more fuel cruising up & down Southend front.

Fuel consumption is proportional to the amount of sea air & donuts you absorb.

Good to CU & your m8 in the cossie.Next time.

Jen,
That sounds more like it,only been this bad since rolling road tune, but car runs sweet as a nut.Im going to calculate exact MPG next time i fill up.I blame poor mpg on the six dognuts at southend.

Me thinks you are getting 20.25mpg which sounds about right. You will find a lot of people here who don't even see 20mpg. I generally get 21-22mpg, but only since i started using SUL. When i was using normal unleaded i would only see 18-19mpg.

Geddit ?
you love and care for your car like it's your other half.
so naturally it's of the opposite sex.
Unless of course your "batting for the other side"

If you think that is juicy, get an RX7. I get less MPG in that, than I do in my Scoob.

And remember that an RX7 is ONLY a 1300.

Thankfully it runs on normal un-leaded.
