First off Sorry for posting this in here but I know that everyone looks in the General Forum first....

Ok here we go to celebrate Steve Lawson's 50th birthday only joking Steve..

We are organising a game feast at the Playing Fields, 143 Whitfield St, London, W1T 5EP.

The date will be Saturday 30th of June, starting at 1.30pm - till whenever, then off for drinks and food down China town and TRY to get Steve p*ssed as a fart...

Now the game will be UT (unreal Tournament) Death Match mode

We will play the best out of 20 maps and maybe for an extra bit of spice we could all put a £5 each in the kittie and winner takes all......

The price for the Playing Fields is £6.00 per head per hour but I must know how many players will come as we will need to pay for each of the machines (£6.00 per machine) up front in order to hold them for us.

Hope to see all the usual UT players there......


Also as a little warm up to this event I will be hosting a UT DM server again this Friday (the 8th June) starting at 10.30pm until late.

We will play the best out of 10 (standard) maps and each player can choose a map if you post your selection here.

For you non gamers out there....

UT (unreal Tournament) is a computer game which you can play online with up to 16 players. Abit like Quake, Doom I am sure you know of those games....right!!!

Anyway the "Playing Fields" is like the Internet Cafe except instead of just surfing the net at the "Playing Fields" you play games on a LAN or over the net.

So as Steve is a big gamer we are going to get a few people together who like playing games (UT) and go to the "Playing Fields" for a fraging (killing) session..

I am indeed free that weekend, so bring it on. Can I bring a m8 (actually work collegue, bit odd but great bloke!) who is a dab hand at the old Quake3 etc, little bit better than me, so no worries there then. He drives a maroon Ford KA with aftermarket Les Smith special alloys, has a purple anodised exhaust end and those purple windscreen wiper spoiler sticky outy things. There is no hope for the bloke. He loves it too, which is the worst thing! I'll get him to bring pictures with him. It will make your day. Me 23, him 26. Not too young for you lot I hope?

The IP address for my server is above (at start of the post) the password to get into the server will be godlike..

BTW Unfortunately the Playing Fields is fully booked on Saturday the 23rd of June, so we are now moving it to Saturday the 30th of June..
I hope that you all can still make it.

As I have mentioned before we have to pay a booking fee in advance to hold the pc’s which is £6 each (non-refundable). To ensure that we can have all the pc’s for the 30th Steve and I will pay the booking fee this Saturday so I ask that all those who are coming please e-mail me by this Saturday and let me know weather you are bringing a friend or not.
