To avoid getting any points on my license I have to attend a police "speed workshop" for around 3 hours! Has anyone else attended such thing? Will I have to look at some nasty pictures?

OK! Sorry - there is a history of people on here getting *shy* when they have been done for speeding.....

I wish I'd been given the chance of a 3 hour lecture rather than points on my license

Just remember to bite your tongue through the "Speeds Kills", "we are only here to help you", "we are not anti-motorist", "our only aim is to reduce accidents and fatalities", "we aim to make speeding as socially unacceptable as drink driving", "majority of the public are behind us", "you don't see the aftermath", etc speeches

On second thought, three hours with PC Tax Collector lying, justifying his exsistence, making excuses for hiding behind roads signs, and trying to make up stories about how speed cameras etc are NOT used for revenue raising etc.., might actually be worse than the 3 points

Thumbs up

Oh no I am not shy, I was doing 37 in a 30! 4 lanes downhill! I have only just bought my car (Toyota mr2) after deciding I could not afford a subaru in my current situation! I have had it 3 weeks, been on holiday for 9 days and crashed it! Boyakasha

Sit there being the model repentent motorist and vowing to burn your licence when you leave..... Then chuck a donut in the carpark as you go.
Dont let em get you down m8, I will ask for that course when I get caught (only a matter of time)
