Having been a little shell shocked from the recent Independent insurance saga, I thought it wise to look at alternative insurance....
Imagine my surprise when Tesco's quote me £1150 with protected no claims and an exhuast as modification !!!!!!!!
Now that is a good price I believe
Oh well - lost 6 months of independent insurance (I was one of the fools who paid up front......), but this is some compensation at least

Last week I thought I would see how much I would be quoted for a 2000 X P1 (as part of my Master Plan). I currently pay £700 for my MY95 5Yrs+ PNCD + wife as named driver. I entered details into DirectLine.com and it came back with £900!! From that point on the P1 seemed a little closer....

G

That seems a bloody good quote, did you give em the right post code?

Get your order in quick, you can be another of the 250 or so people who got the last one

P.S. Still owe you that tenner, forgot all about it, I'll get it in the post.

Cheers

I got a quote for me and the wife (Ok, yes - we're old ) for a standard P1 from NFU 6 months ago of circa £590!!

...didn't do it 'cos I'd have had to sell some shares to finance a P1. Well, in hindsight, the P1 would have been an outstanding investment compared with the dop in the share price over the last six months . Doh.

Banshi, you want to move to the Highlands in Scotland, muchos cheapness, a year or so ago I was quoted MY00 (brand new) full NCD 23year old < £600. Shame I moved and they then multiplied it by 3
