Cool

Here's an install for you... the In-CarMP3.com demo car. It's on show at the caraudiodirect.com ICE T5 meet this Sunday.

Lots of vinyl

Possibly the best value ICE offer this year ;-)

Foreplay

Standalone demo system in boot - converts to rear fill and sub when the big MF sub box is removed

The big MF sub box. Who needs rear seats?

Mucho sound stage to balance the big MF sub box

The main event: Dension DMP3 integrated to Alpine MBUS.

With 80GB storage, the bit rate at which you rip doesn't really present an issue. I've got ~400 CDs ripped at 192kbps which takes up 35-40GB.

I'd say that with road noise, etc, at 192kbps you can't tell the difference.

You couldn't trim the images down a bit for the bandwidth challenged could you Lee?

BTW, do you have a website :P

...and you've got it working with mbus! Excellent!

What else do you support now head-unit wise?

Nice install. "Subtle".

Subtle! About as subtle as Jade full frontal!

We'll be powering up the second Sony proto i/f this week, then it's full steam ahead on BMW, VAG and Ford.

Cheers

Lee.

In the q, but as I'm sure you'll all understand, we need to prioritise OE integration, especially as it's relatively simple to source aux-in adaptors for the aftermarket makes. It's on the agenda, but right now, we need to ensure that we can integrate to things like e46, a4, etc.

But is it Kenwood Kenwood, i.e. can you plug in a standard Kenwood changer to the MY01 h/u and does it work?

Group buy... if 750 or more MY01 owners order now, we'll develop it pdq ;-) Seriously... we need to know that we can sell 750 units of a particular variant in order for the integration to cost in. Economics, etc.
