I need to buy a touch-up pen for a few stonechips, where can I get the color code? I take it a dealer is the best (or only) place to buy the paint.

open up your bonnet.

if you are look @ your car head on, top right, be a plate next to the wing. Will say on that what the paint code is.

Can't see it! Maybe I'm just blind

Looking at the engine compartment, the strut tower at the left has the VIN plate, the one at the right has a "rolling road tuned by" sticker. Possibly it's under this? Or is it not actually on the strut?

A pic would be perfect so I know for sure I'm not missing the point completely! paul_morga@yahoo.co.uk if anyone could e-mail one. BTW the car is dark blue mica. Thanks for the help.

Cheers mate. Although my VIN plate doesn't look the same as that! Is yours a Jap model by any chance? Mine is a UK.

Anyway I went to the local shop to see about getting paint mixed and they had loads of cards with paint samples. Checked mine against Dark Blue Mica and it matched perfectly. Turns out the paint code is 416, so I got a tin of touch-up made up.

Thanks for the help folks.
