As above, i've nearly got all my front mount kit together and i have routed all my pipework... if i remove my aircon it is gonna make my life so much easier for fitting/routing the pipework/-i/c
Anybody got any pro's or cons that i should consider before removing??
I realise i'm not gonna have the cold air in the summer, but that turns round as i dont use it cause of the petrol usage...
thanks
Rob
p.s. i can see how it is removed under the bonnet, but what conponents are inside the dash??

There is a heat exchanger core for cooling the air inside the car, above the passenger footwell, but no need to remove it. It wont cause any problems leaving it there. Although it is a fairly easy bit to remove, you will then have to replace it with the bit that would be found in non-AC cars.
By the way...that same core would make an excellent chargecooler

Its only a rad core, for air to flow thru, in order to cool it. It is easy removed, but if you do, then there is a substantial part of the heater ducting that will need replacing with the appropriate bit from a non AC car.
Just leave it there, it saves the hassle.
