hi luke the bass box was intended for a 16v astra with some mods i got it in the boot frow inside the car [so no one will nic it out the boot]
as for the wireing its a bit hard to explain the bloke how made the box wired it up for me because it went over my head lol

I'd be useful to know the design of the box. ie are the drivers on each side sharing airspace? It looks like a pseudo bandpass to me with a tri-chamber design. Any ideas what it's tuned to?

How many wires come out of it? If it's just one pair, then the woofers are wired in series/parallel to give an effective impedance of 4 ohms (or possibly 1 ohm - eek!)

What make are the subs?

hi ya the subs are ultimate 260 watts each [ dont sound much but they realy kics] .
the left 2 subs are sharing and same for the over side. it ony has one positive and one negative on the back .
tryed to have a look for the wire diagram but could not find it
hpoe this helps

 

I'll guess that two subs are wired in series (giving 8 ohm) then the two pairs are wired in parallel (giving 4 ohms)...

If it is, it'll be an easy load for an amp to drive.
