I am currently debating a Subaru WRX or STI purchase - having the whole import or not discussions.

So the question, what are the best deals being offered by official UK Subaru dealerships at this time - I am interested in prices for both WRX and STI models.

Cheers Andy

What Car target price indicates you should get about about a grand off of each.

If I were you I would consider getting an import Why save £1k when you can save £4-5k? I have bought UK supplied cars before and will not do so again.

Try talking to some of the dealers. They all want to sell cars and you might be suprised at the deals you could get.

On a thread a couple of weeks ago, Beechdale in Nottingham were recommended by many people - Gavin Beck AKA Beech Boy!

I'm not going to say how much my new WRX was below list but it was a dam sight more than £1K.

P.S. Gavin sold the above mentioned Sccoby Newbie a new STi I think and he seemed to be very happy with the price.

Andy,

£21500 is probably about the best your going to get for an STi from Belgium. Add the cost of a tracker, alarm, locking wheel nuts to get it upto UK spec and getting it home your going to be looking at around £22500, still a 2k saving over the UK car though.

What are the delivery times on the UK cars that you've been quoted for?

Come on chaps,

what are the dealers offering at the moment? It's in everyones interest to highlight the best offers available then an informed decision can be made on an import or not.

.......It would seem that an import costs about 2k less than UK sourced car but wouldn't most of that be recuperated when the vehicle is sold?

Andy

I Can't personally put my prices up on the net... but please give me a ring on 0115-9882958, as depending on when you are looking to change I can beat your current best prices on new WRX, and potentially on STi.

Baby! how much commision do I owe you now!!!
Thanks for the Recommendations!

I guess it depends on how long you want to keep it. I'm after an STI and will keep it for up to 3 years so by that point there should be very little difference in the price. Espescially now that Belgium cars may come with a 3 year warranty.

The saving does not seem to be as great on a STI as a new WRX though.....

Best of luck

Richard
