Does anyone have any dyno data (ideally before and after) on a 99MY on a fairly standard car with minor mods, i.e exhaust system, but with a MBC and/or Tek2? The dyno website has nothing. Running an MBC at 1.1bar and would be interested to see the effects over standard and compare it to a Tek2 as well.

Cheers

Have seen it, thanks but this is for a completely standard I think. Interested in it's full potential and then compare to a MBC.
Cheers

What do you mean by MBC?
Manual Boost Controller?

I was running a dawes for a very short time, gains in driving experience were superb for the money, but I was constantly worried about the ecu not being able to react if a problem occurred.

I'm not running it anymore, miss the smooth power delivery it gave , must admit I was hoping we'd have had some more dyno graphs posted on the dawes/ecutek cars that are around myself. The one above is the only one I've seen, although I've not heard a bad word said about the Ecutek upgrades (Thats why I want one )

I went from Dawes to the tek - its worth the extra money I wrote a little bit on it in the PE EcuTek Open Day thread in general section.

I went from a Dawes at 21 PSI to a Tek 3 with 19 PSI and lost no power or torque and gained from a fatter torque curve low down, just from small changes to fuelling and timing.

Hi, John,
what spec was your car when you were running 21 psi?

Isn't the 802 module the sh1te 00MY unit? Bit confused why it would produce 245bhp with fairly minor mods. Good improvements from the Tek2 though.

The MY00 was booked at approx 220BHP / 215lb/ft which I think is consevative.

So in theory the full exhaust system adds 25BHP and 25lb/ft

I think everyone would agree the numbers are about right
