Ok I have 8 people up for this, anyone else?

If you haven't got an email from me soon and want to be in on it, please contact me ASAP.

Basically the deal is £1450+VAT for the PPP fitted at Prodrives new places in Warwick. You have to get the car there and back yourself. Fitting will be from 29th May, either morning or afternoon. 3% extra cost if you want to pay be credit card.

Note this doesn't cover the MY01 as there isn't a PPP for it yet!

Greg, just to make sure no one has a nasty suprise, is it true that car's mechanicals must be standard still? No induction kits, no downpipes etc etc? I'd just hate someone to turn up and get sent away.
Regards
Chuck

Joey,

Ref PCP

Yes they will, they reckon you should inform IM, but it should enhance the value of the car.

It looks like prodrive will be doing the MY01 WRX kit soon. Will the deal include this one?

Nope. Can't do a deal on an unannounced (officially) and unpriced product I'm afraid.

Any chance this can be run again later in the year? Just had to cough up my PPP allocated money for a new boiler (3 bloody grand!) and a new company (er, a lot more than 3 grand).

Unless Prodrive fancy doing interest free credit for a year!!

Robman,

I suspect if you want to run it later in the year, you'll have to scope out interest and then approach a shed load of dealers!

cheers,

Greg, I am interested in being part of the group deal for the PPP. Also I am interested in having the Prodrive STI Suspension kit, any deals going for this?

Thanks, Paul.

If you think you can do better, go for it. This has taken ages to do, and alot of effort. There is no way I am going to stall it. If the kit is announced and available before 25th May I may consider adding it, dependent on price.

from what I've heard you may be pleasantly surprised when the MY01 PPP is announced.

Jza,
Id listen to what people like Mike Wood say, its the only none invalidating warranty modification you can do to your scoob to increase "safely" the power of your car!!
Most people say that a PPP'd car is on par with an STI performance wise, its safe, reliable and done by professionals.
Got to check my bank balance before the 25th, but if its in there and my insurance co are friendly then ill be there getting it fitted to my car too
One quick one thou, do they take Bankers drafts and if so who do you make it payable to????

I`ve just priced up ppp with local garage 1968 quid, they`ve also offered me there own alternative for 900 quid.
I`m obviously interested in the reduced price ppp, but why shouldn`t i take my Subaru dealer up on his 900 quid offer, and slightly greater BHP increase?
If i do decide to join you what is the cut off date for having the work done?

Robo:

Cut off is 25th May.

The dealer is not offering you a pucker Prodrive Subaru deal for £900. The PPP is fully warrantied.

Bottom line it's up to you, there are other ECU upgrades out there, but then you loose your warranty. Search Scoobynet for PPP there are many many discussions here.

Final reminder, this deal closes 3pm Friday 25th May.

For the MY01 owners, hopefully now you understand why you weren't included! Hint: read the MY300 press release!
