Sorry, another Which? thread...


Need to get a boost gauge, and maybe an A-pillar pod but could do with some pointers.

I only want the boost gauge, so not interested in the centre 3 gauge pod.

The Defi ones look nice, but they seem pricey

I'd still want something reasonably good, but not too expensive.
It must have back light, but doesn't need to do any other tricks except display boost.

Any recommendations?
And any other stuff I should know?

BTW I've already seen the Falkland one (thanks John ) - just looking for other options...

No particular reason, it's just my preference.

 

The Falkland one is about £35 - mine under-reads by 1 PSI and if you didn't want to hack it about you could get an A-pillar pod for it - junior hacksaw and cable tie did the job for me, the position is fine and it looks OK. I have seen very posh gauges out by 2 PSI compared with the MAP sensor. Whatever you get, I can tell you how much it is out with Delta Dash when I next see you. How is the car going?

You looked into getting the Apexi ones? they look schweeeeeet

 

I've got an autometer jobbie, & comparing its readings to the DeltaDash output, it's almost bang-on. It's back-lit too, and very easy to fit (or certainly compared the the SPA one which is proving itself to be a bit of a "$%^$%^). £50, though.

IMHO the autometer Ultralite gauges r pretty good (hell I bought 5 of them, all different of course ) There`s a pic of some of them on my site http://www.scoobymods.co.uk/earlypanel01.htm The boost is the one on the RHS These were all supplied by Mike at Scooby Mania http://www.scoobymania.co.uk
