Default Winning noise when car gets to operating temperature in the summer

Hi guys.
i have the 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.0 auto bug eye. In the winter time she drives with no problems but in the summer time i can barely drive her. When its like over 25 degrees outside i will start her up and then she will drive for about 5min and then you will hear this noise and she then pulls to the left and make this winning noise. Then at that time my power light on the dash will come on and my speedo will go to zero and then it only drives in one gear. The gears then doesnt change. I have noticed that my transmissions oil colour is a light colour and not red like normal tranmission fluid.....can that be the problem? My AT oil temp light also comes on when this happens but not all the time. Any advise will be appreciated because the Subaru specialist in my town cant even help me. Thank you

Sounds like someone has filled it with manual transmission fluid rather than ATF. I'd start there
