Default Help needed with noise

I have a 2006 Subaru WRX, my engine has just started making this whining noise it’s coming from the front near the belts or just behind. Belts were changed last year. Any help appreciated.

So check the alternator bearings or the other chance is the ac compressor bearings but more of a concern is the pulley tension on the front of the engine , if that fails it can damage the timing cover , the pulley is on a metal extension over the timing cover area , the pulley is at the bottom of the extension , needs loosing first then the screw thread releases the tension on it , relatively easy to change plus not too pricy

Thanks for the help just hoping it’s an easy fix then and not to costly.

My issue when I had this was the pulley that had started to fail , if it's this then do not leave it too long , if it fails it can take out your cambelt and would be very expensive
