For the actual loom mounted on the engine it depends on year and engine size.

Well say it’s made for the same year, same model, same engine size and so on

but it’s coming from USA

so it’s classed as a USDM model
will the plugs be the same as the UK model

as I’m after a aftermarket loom to replace the ****ty loom

As your not very forth coming with info, I'll assume it's Newage, so
UK/Europe engine looms (EK destination code - Europe RHD)

USDM

I have a Subaru Impreza uk bugeye 2002 wrx.

but iwire in America makes aftermarket engine harness looms but there listed as USDM

all I wanted to know if I bought one from iwire to suit a 2002 wrx USDM spec car.

when it arrives in the UK

will it work on my 2002 wrx Subaru Impreza

or are they completely differently pinned

If you look at the two lists they are the same part number - Items 1 & 2
Both don't have AVCS.
