O2 sensor 03 wrx
Is Denso Lambda the one to go for? I’m told there is no point in getting a cheap or used one.

Which "O2" sensor are you refering to, as there are 2 fitted.
Locations:
Bank1 Sensor 1 - RH side manifold before up pipe
Bank1 Sensor 2 - After second cat before donut joint
In general your statement is correct, especially for Sensor 1 above.

Car is decatted. I presume sensor 1? I have code P0131

with lambda i will go with genuine ,cheap used should be good to if You can do it Yourself otherwise You could finish paying twice for fitment
