Default Clutch not working after engine install (pull type - gc8)

Hi all,
So finally got around to installing my engine last night. Started it up and pushed the clutch pedal and it went to the floor with little effort. When I took my foot off the pedal come back up only about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. So I pumped it a bunch of times and that didn’t really improve anything. With the car on jack stands trying to select any gear isn’t possible at all with the clutch depressed fully.

any ideas what might be causing it?
cheers

Edit:
solved. Bled the clutch, and the pedal kept getting stuck half way. Reached down and picked up the pedal and now it’s been fine ever since.

Just cracked 1000kms, no issues at all 👍
Haven’t had to touch it since.
