Default Recommended spark plugs

Hi everyone,

I have a 2006 Impreza 1.6L, engine type EJ161NP8AB. What are the recommended spark plugs for this engine?

Are there any better plugs apart from the recommended ones?

Thanks.

Actually, you'd be surprised (pleasantly) at how the main dealership is at giving out info.
Also the prices for genuine parts are often cheaper than online sellers.
If you call in at your local (if you've got one) dealer, give 'em your vin and they can look up part numbers and details for you. Usually get you stuff from main Subaru stockroom overnight if you order by a certain time.
There's a couple of online part number sources, I'll look' em up and add them here.
Some info in this thread...

Thanks guys.

Subaru dealer parts prices here are astronomical. $110 for a thermostat, so I'm not even going to bother asking about plugs.

The "-11" for the NGK plugs suggests it's 1.0 - 1.1mm

My car not a chance

the "-11" on the end of the NGK part number tells you that they are pre-gapped to 1.1mm......

!!Don't mate those are from China would not trust it just order from Japan they are cheap enough for a couple of £ not worth the risk.

You won't find them cheaper than on RHD Japan as they are currently on sale half price almost , I've used them plenty of times and somethimes got parts delivered quicker than from the UK (mind blown)

I think maybe you're right. I'll go for the Japanese ones. Cheers.

Thanks Gambit. I might just add some more parts to the order and spread the shipping cost.
