Lightbulb Spark plugs replacement first tome on EJ205 - Please advise

Hi guys,

I am going to replace the spark plugs on EJ205 first time on my Forester 2006 (Replaced on Honda\Toyota many times) and would like to prepare myself for the procedure.
Could you please advise on what tools are required? Do I need to jack up the engine (if so, what are the lifting points (left\right sides)?
What sizes of the ratchet extensions are required to unbolt coils and plugs?

Thank you in advance.

Windscreen washer bottle out, airbox out, sparkplug socket and a selection of short extensions. Job done.

See attached

On Revision "D" or 2006> models, no need to remove the washer bottle as it's location was changed to for'd nearside wheelwell.
Don't forget to refit the bracket for the front (A/F) oxygen sensor lead.

As the above comments, I did this on my classic 2 weeks ago, its not as bad as it seems, allow yourself good time to do it, don't rush, try your sockets and extensions for fit first, go out and buy a more appropriate extension if needs be, having the right tools makes the job way easier. Maybe a flex head wrench could be useful too.
