Hi., I’ve an mdx321t turbo which is about 9 years old and the wastegate is seized shut I’m going to drop the down pipe and see what’s going on and see if I can free it but if not what are the options..?? Turbo rebuild or go external wastegate etc.? Thanks

 

Easy enough for any turbo reconditioners to sort for you. EWG would be a lot more work.

 

Yeah I did think that, took the downpipe of today and the penny bit inside is a bit loose and rattles but that thing is seized solid. Cheers. 👍
