Default Front Axle help!

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could send me the part no. / link for some front axles on a Subaru Impreza GG (Jdm) if that matters.
Been going round in circles on eBay and google for a while and not sure if I've got the right thing as I've heard wagons had shorter axles than sedans?

Cheers
Nick

Assuming it's your 04 (Revision D ?? or could be E) WRX wagon then its probably
Sportshift: 28321FE131
5MT: 28321FE171

Needs greater clarification than just GG. Applied model code?

If it's for a wagon, they are indeed shorter. You can fit saloon ones I believe as the difference in length is negligible and won't have a negative effect - although you are advised to fit in pairs.

If you want new wagon driveshafts, you're best bet is a Subaru dealer. They aren't cheap though, as they seldom fail and so are not carried in stock and have to be imported from Japan. Think £500+ each.
Personally I wouldn't fit aftermarket driveshafts but they are obviously a lot cheaper.

I'd contact breakers or look for cars being broken and grab some genuine second-hand shafts for a couple of hundred quid that can be rebuilt off the car if need be.
