I've bought 2 Lightwerkz wiring looms. One to put JDM HID headlights into 02 WRX which was basically plug'n'play. And another to put JDM HID headlights into 05 WRX, involved some modding on my part and was due to a combination of parts not being properly described on their website and me ordering the wrong part. I ended up buying a loom similar to the ebay one also and splicing the 2 together.

It all depends upon which ballasts you have, as they will determine the connectors you need. I don't think that an of the generic ebay looms have the right connectors for the JDM ballasts. I think that they are all 9006 on ebay.

 

Great cheers good info. Looking for a loom for the Hawkeye, would like a plug and play. Did you just hardwire to the battery? And how does this not drain your battery, does the relay stop this?

 

Aren't Hawkeye lights HID as standard?

 

No only STI models.
