Default Forged rods n pistons

Hi All
I need to buy forged rods n pistions for 2.5 sti engine.
looking to run 350 - 400hp and bit more with future add ons. Want quiet running pistons not slappy.
Any recommendations.

Personally i'd try to listen to a few engines that have been forged if you can, youtube is a good place because if you don't like a tapping sound some of the pistons will give you that especially when cold i.e piston slap, some are better tthan others, just do your research and maybe speak to a few builders for advice and tell them what your looking for.

You probably already know this but the noise level can vary from forge build to forge build. Eben when using the same type of piston.

In terms of forged pistons there are two main types that I know of. You have 2618 grade and 4032 grade. These expand at different rates and can have an impact noise.
