I need to replace my chrome weather strips as removing the wind deflectors damaged them.
I'm going to replace the rubber strip underneath these and is it just pull out and put the 2 clips back in?
As mentioned when you previously posted about breaking the windiflector in a drunken moment, the "chrome" moulding is actually an aluminium trim piece painted matt/satin black and extends from front to rear of the door openings as shown below -items 63531/63531A
Iirc I leant on the wind deflector when it was minus 8c and it snapped it, No drinking involved.
Looking closer at the other side this was also split and needing replacing.
ordered a set that arrived broken so decided not to bother chancing another set.
Being left with the mess in the picture I've decided to replace both the aluminium strips and the rubber seals that run the length of the door (63521)
and if it's just a tongue and grove style then wicked thanks.
If you are replacing the aluminium moulding these are the part numbers
Anywhere upto $296 each in the US plus VAT plus postage (large so shipping probably expensive)
or here in UK- Leftside https://www.ebay.co.uk/c/1516662794
