Default Age old debate re having to map after upgraded fuel pump fitted??

Hi all. Still very new to scoobs. Have an almost stock (turbo back) Hawkeye WRX. I intend to get it mapped soonish and was advised to get an upgraded fuel pump prior to this. I've now read a ton of posts on this forum but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer re Map after fitting fuel pump. It seems for every person saying that you don't as the FPR will...regulate, there's another person that says it will over fuel. I've got my car in bits ready to fit a scoobyworx one but am now in two minds. ????

Cheers in advance

cheers, I'll put it in once the Mrs gets back from work, she has the hoover and there's a ton of dusty cheg all over the top of the cover. I was just being cautious as the new pump is much higher output than the OEM one
