No CEL - No fuel - No spark
just thought id make a post incase ive missed something obvious or someones had a similar issue. Tried searching and found what appears to be a few guys with similar issues but the threads either went off topic or were not followed up.
Long story short:
1997 WRX STI Version 3
Car ran great at the weekend.
Got in it monday and just cranked over and wouldnt start.
started doing a bit investigating yesterday and Noticed that the check engine light is not lighting up on the dash.
Check under the bonnet and the fuel pressure gauge is showing 0 pressure
Checked for spark and their isnt any either.
Checked all fuses (with multimeter) and all have continuity
Checked fuel pump relays and main relay and they also seem fine.
Put 12v to pump and pump is good.
so im guessing its most likely an immobiliser fault or possibly ecu (apexi power fc)
Immobiliser wise its a viper thatcham alarm/immob, when you get in the car and turn the keys their are no dash lights. press the button on the fob and the dash lights up without the check engine light coming on.
if anyone has any further suggestions of things to try im open to all ideas and if ive missed any information needed to help identify anything further then let me know and ill provide it
