I have recently got a UK turbo2000 from a friend which I plan to gut in the next few weeks and use as a track car.
Plan was to only have 2 seats in it, to get some cheapo eBay buckets, and to eBay the rears and door cards etc.
Anyway the car actually came with Prodrive Recaros, so then I was going to keep just the fronts, eBay the rest.
Now I am thinking there may value in selling everything complete, or at least swapping for some half decent track seats if someone's looking to put interior back.
So question is, how much realistically could I get selling the lot complete?
if they are are rare as people are saying and you want fast cash the breaker on here mattyB might buy and sit on them to make a good profit. Or he might already know someone looking a set
They are electric. I did see by having a scroll through that some have sold for silly money, but seen nothing of them recently.
Ultimately they are only worth what somebody is willing to pay. Either way I will be taking them out shortly and putting them up, they are not what I need. I don't need fast cash but I wont be holding on to them.
Good to know I can put them up for a half decent price and not get canned.
I haven't seen those before, they're awesome. Definitely hang on til you get the price you want for them. I wouldn't bother with the FB sale groups, you'll be offered 20 quid per seat and a curly wurly
Worth looking at the P1 WOC site, pretty sure there are some guys on there that would pay good money for a clean set even though it's a 4 door interior.
Where bouts are you? If your just using it for rally would it not be better selling car as whole, and buy a rough one. Or is the rest of car rough or not rare?
Its not a rare car, its just a MY99 UK2000 (I think) Its pretty rough on the outside, but has decent enough mods to make it perfect for what I need it for
The interior must have be retrofitted by a previous owner.
Lol nice one bud. wish i came across these kind of cars now and again.
To be honest Jay we stumbled on it by complete accident. Beeftank and myself have always wanted a track car and our friend had this sitting, so we made him an offer and went halfs... We didn't know the seats were anything special until we started looking for replacement buckets.
