Default blocking of internal Heater pipes

hi , i have removed / gutted inside my car , not heater ..

can i just block the heater pipes that are not defunct ? or is it IMPORTANT to maintain water flow ? so i should try and join then up ?

Subaru heater circuit is a full flow bypass system so is used for circulation when the thermostat is closed.
Best option join the heater feed and return lines within the engine bay.

ok , cheers diagram cool , looks like throttle body as some cold/warm type valve to .. i will join
