Default Best Turbo Back Exhaust

Hi Guys,

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before but whats the best turbo back exhaust for a 1995 impreza Classic turbo uk? Got a budget of £500-£700. Its running a ppp pack at the moment (Prodrive ECU ,Prodrive Catback Exhaust and Cosworth panel filter) but want a turbo back system with a bit more burble! I take it I will also need a remap after an exhaust is fitted? Can the Prodrive ECU be remapped?

Thanks

I have a Power flow cat back system with a 100 cell sports cat on my 1998 Impreza. I think it sounds nice. You can get these custom built. Its not too loud, but nice sound with deep burble.

No you can't remap a prodrive ecu. Do you have a picture o ECU? You need an ESL daughter board fitted on your ecu. I'd sell the Prodrive ECU and fit esl on standard ecu.

Was the power flow expensive? I have been looking at a Cobra turbo back system, they any good? Sorry I only have a pic of the top of the ECU can picture the plugs later if that helps?

No powerflow cost me under £200 second hand. You can get one made up for about £250 new, and then spend rest on ESL.

Its basically a daughter board that fits onto the top of your standard ecu, it then allows the ecu to be remapped. It also allows the ecu to have 2 maps on the car. My mate just had one fitted to his. He had a low boost map for every day driving and and a high boost map for fun.

Search on power flow to find your nearest dealer

And this is the ESL board you need

No problem, you can get it built to how you want. I will send you a pic of mine. It's a one price deresonated centre with oval rear silencer.

You will find it very difficult to better the quality of the JDM systems, HKS, Blitz, Genome and the like.
The build quality and welding make the custom built stuff look like a youth welding class.
