Default Quite 3" exhaust choices for Hawkeye

I'm looking at buying a Hawkeye which currently has a blitz nur spec and when I get it I will be looking at changing to something more subtle. I do like the blitz but think it may be a bit much for me / where I live in the long run.

I've seen the cobra track friendly online which appears OK from the sound clips but wonder what other options there are available and what others are using.

I've had a read on the revolution system and seems quite a few issues plus not really sure if they are still available.

No issues that I know of, very popular exhaust on the sprint cars, I know loads of lads running them, tried and tested!
Just order direct from jetex I did

I'll have a better look, think it's the slip joints leaking that I read were an issue, might be wrong though.

No issues with mine, just clamp them up nice and tight, slip joints are way better than flanges

I've recently bought the revolution exhaust and it fits okay. I'd recommend getting the turbo back system though so it's all slip joint. I had the cobra track day friendly system before and it was good. Only reason I changed was it was getting restrictive at higher bhp

Milltek = quality and is quiet not the cheapest but quality never is

Blitz = best ever exhaust made for a scoob IMO unless you go titanium STI which is ultra rare

Sti genome = if your lucky enough to source one this is the best option for you

My milltek was 3" but very subtle kicked into life on the motorway though, will have to agree with joe on the prices for the back boxes alone on the genomes go for nearly £250!! But then saying that I've seen blitz nur spec cat back system go for nearly £300 where as there's a nice milltek on eBay with sports cat downpipe at about £300!
You'll make good money on the blitz system and won't be surprised if someone wants to have a swap over with there's once you get the car hope all goes well Hayward and scot is a decent make aswell as regards to quality and sound

I've heard mixed opinions on h&s quality.
I will need to check but think the car has a sports cat fitted, if this is 3" then the cobra may be no use as its 2.5" where it connects to the cat I believe, might be getting this all wrong with pipe size though.

If you buy the cobra new it will come with the wire gasket so you can connect to the 3" downpipe.

How are you finding the Jetex system you've changed over too, look like it may be an option.

I like it. The only thing I would say is to go for the full system if your aiming for high power. I first bought the half system and the top small piece that joins to the downpipe tapers to 2.5" then back up to 3". Had to order the jetex decat downpipe recently as this has the slip end so it will all fit properly and now it's a true 3" system.

I find it abit more raspy than the cobra track day friendly system but no louder
