Anybody taken the wind deflectors off a saloon? Lots of sticky stuff looks difficult to remove if I do it & will the windows leak, the rubber is sound but the deflectors obviously kill the rain flow.

 

I've removed the deflectors off my WRX wagon, 'cause one was badly cracked. I haven't had any problems with leaks, but cleaning off the sticky stuff was a real pain and I'd be surprised if you could take them off in one piece. mine shattered during removal, so no going back.
