Default Jdm Pre-widetrack Sti or Uk Widetrack

I'm looking at getting a new Blobeye Sti and have a budget of around £9k. Im finding it hard to find a nice Jdm Sti, so was wondering whether a Uk widetrack would be just as good as a pre-widetrack Jdm? I'd appreciate any advice on the cars themselves and things to look out for. Thanks! Ed

I may be wrong here and I'm sure I will be corrected if so, but isn't a UK wide track a better car all round than ANY pre-widetrack?

Obviously a JDM widetrack would trump it.

No JDM even pre widetrack is the superior car, better turbo setup, better performance, better handling and more tunability

I wouldn't say that Banny, early JDMs weren't twin scroll, most of the developement from the Spec C ended up in the wide track too, roll bars geometry etc.
