Default Intake hose changed now running/ idle problems

Hi all, would really appreciate some help with this one as ive been bussing it now for a week already. I noticed a split in intake hose where it slips onto the turbo after having some rough running/jerkyness and set out to change it immediately as i didnt want to run lean and destroy my engine. Anyway, after a ballache of a job i finally got it all done just taking as much time as i could to do things properly and meticulousy as possible, fired it up and on idle its as rough as hell, sounds like it will stall at any moment and the vac on idle on boost gauge is only around -16psi and before it still idled perfectly but the jerked around on light throttle. Now it drives alot smoother but wont idle. Feels as if it wants to boost up fine and the response is fine, but i havent done a full WOT run obviously as there is a problem still there. Im thinking maybe theres a big leak maybe on the inket manifold gasket or throttle body gasket as i undone the inlet to lift it up a little to aid fitting of the new hose and removed the throttle body completely too. Could anyone else give me any other reasons why vac would be way down and have a real rough idle please. Need to sort it asap as ill be on the bus again tomorrow now
And the car is a uk turbo 2000 my00. Many thanks in advance. Aaron.

I doubt its anything to do with that mate cos it was idking perfectly before i changed that hose i think its more likely to be caused by me unbolting the inlet manifold or the throttle body mate as the vac is really low. Anyone else have any othe input. Looks like ill have to strip the whole thing down again already been at it 6 hours getting the old one off and the new one on. Cheers, aaron.
