Default Facebook groups are priceless!

Can't remember the name of the group (i have since been banned!) but someone posted an ad for their sub 50k 99 classic turbo in red with no rust arch, asking for valuations. it was standard so I said between 2.5 and 3k due to its low mileage, condition and lack of mods.

I was then called all the names under the son and that in their opinion it was only worth 1k to 1.5k!

I then had examples shown to me that only cost 1500 notes. they were all modified so badly it was laughable.

I guess calling them all chav chariots was the last straw and then I was banned!

no swearing, no abuse, no trolling whatsoever.

I feel quite privileged!

Only this week there was a guy trying to sell his 2003 WRX for 10k. When questioned about the price he posted examples of two Imprezas for sale on ebay that were slightly more expensive than his.....One was a JDM widetrack Blob the other a Hawk STI!

Some real sheds and chavs on them sites but the cars and people won't be there in a year or two so classics will be rarer and go up on value

There are a few good groups, I run Subaru Wagon Owners UK and we have a good mix of nice cars and knowledgeable people and reputable trusted garages in there. but on the other hand I have seen a lot of groups just full of morons!!

Subaru Swap Shop - There are two of them, the first one is invite only, that is truly THE BEST EVER, I got banned because I told some pikey from Blackpool at his fake SSQV didnt add the equivalent of 30bhp.

The second Subaru Swap Shop site, was opened by some dude who runs a subaru specialist garage in Ireland, because the first SSS banned him for not paying them to advertise
