Rebuild - buy list
So I'm getting fully forged by Andy Kindon when I'm on holiday beginning of June... what else could/should I get done whilst the engine's out? I've already bought CDF lightweight pulleys... I'm not bothering with a lightened *flywheel....
FPR? - I'm running RCM 850's & Fuel Pump...
Clutch isn't old atall, so that will be ok 'for now'...
any ideaS?

Hi there
What are yours plans ?
What turbo you will be running ?
I would go with Fuelab only as FPR
And what other mods, really depends what power you will be running and what injectors are you will be running
Hope this helps
Thanks,Jura

Recommend Vibra-Technics enginemounts, some in-car vibration at low revs but got used to that.

I have a lightweight flywheel fitted and it doesn't make the car tick over any different, stall easier or mean its any noisier or revier pulling away. Yes the engine is more free revving but only when you make it do so.
If you have gone to the trouble of lightweight pulleys you will get far more gain the other end of the crank with the fly.

I would go for a lightened flywheel over lightweight pulleys first. Lightweight pulleys are nice but more for visual appearance under the bonnet. I certainly couldn't notice much difference with them fitted.
You can always add pulleys later on and they are relatively easy to fit.

There are a lot of unused mounting points that can be cut off and smoothed if you have the time and inclination, or at the very least you can repaint the manifold using a red wrinkle finish. It's a rotten job to remove the manifold for a repaint with the engine in situ, but it's dead easy while the engine's out.
