Default Turbo replacement

Hi everyone.

I've just reconditioned a TD05 16g to replace the stock TD04 in my Terzo. My question is whether I need to drain the oil and coolant completely when they are swapped or can I clamp the hoses and just cleanup the remnants that come out?

Thanks

no you can clamp the hoses and switch it out. It's normally the engine pressure that pumps the fluids around not just gravity.
