Having had a read Mishimoto say you don't need a remap to run their cai, anyone used one without or anyone have any advice that if I do go down the cai route would definitely need a remap.
Cars a 2010 sti saloon with the 320r pack.

I wouldn't recommend it without a remap. I definitely wouldn't do it on my car!

 

I have a buddy with this intake on the stock tune and he has not had any problems. Sounds pretty awesome too. Mishi does a pretty decent amount of testing on there products so I imagine they would not say it is okay without checking it out. I do know you have to be running 93 octane.

 

Fuel is normally super so 97ron anyway. TBH its the sound I'm after, had a cosworth years ago with an induction kit and loved the noise.

 

Shell Vpower or Tesco momentum is 99 Ron, only 97 ron i know is BP ultimate or Torq Max stuff

 

Tends To be tesco so 99ron it is then. After a good few years of diesels I've not been keeping up on the fuel side.
