dash clocks looks right for 05, could be its had a steering wheel replaced, y? hints towards airbag deploying and a cheaper fix, so possible front ender?

It has the wide track intercooler cut out end tank near bulk head .Were's the strut brace .05 onwards blob wide track Jdm Sti has 180mph compared to the higher speedo of the hawkeye Jdm Sti.Wide track Jdm Sti has the electric folding wing mirror switch on drivers door card next to the button with r/l .The Jdm Sti 6 speed gear **** is plastic compared to the metal uk one .The Turbo is a vf37 in 03 onwards Jdm Sti's .

Dash clocks are red in all JDM cars blob model.
They are green in UK cars only the hawk had the sweeping red defi ones in UK spec.
Everything else looks correct so as you say has the air bag deployed??
Wouldnt be a surprise with these clowns

Slam panels will only ever be painted if its had a front end accident, resulting in repairing or replacing the slam panel.
As its worth a lot of money still, chances are it could have had a heavy front end crash but not been written off, therefore hpi clear, but there will be loads of giveaways thats its been in an accident, even if its had a proper insurance repair.

But in all fairness if it was repaired properly then the slam panel should have been painted in the matte finish it comes with from factory.
