My car has been otr for 6 months and the car's battery has been removed. After refitting it, the car started and drove with no problems.
However, now I have an issue with the alarm going off randomly... The immo will arm/disarm fine with the indicators flashing as they should, the car will lock/unlock fine, and even start and run.... All while the siren is blaring!!

After some research on various forums, it sounds like the 9v rechargable battery inside the actual siren may be dead, and I want to replace it as it looks to be a straight forward job....

But after much hunting (without pulling anything apart yet), I'm having no joy in the first step of even locating the damn thing!!!

Any clues anyone!???

Had already looked under there once briefly and didn't notice it! Doh!

Hopefully once the car is back on the road, the alarm will behave.
