Default Rear seats fold down?

Do they in a bugeye sti? Can't see a way to do it and other threads seem to suggest not, is that the case?

Are you on about the centre section

If so the spec c type ra etc came with no centre fold down

Or if your on about the whole seat it's a remove the bolts kind of job like all new ages

In short no. Only the arm rest in the middle folds down. Seats and back is bolted in place

they are bolted in place

if you needed fold down seats you could look at trying to fit some from a wagon

They don't even if they did you would still be left with the metal seat back in the way preventing using the boot space like a wagon so may as well save time and expense of sourcing and fitting wagon seats.

Correct me if I am wrong but all STI seats except Spec C and anything with the large intercooler tank in the boot should open in the centre ??

First the arm rest pulls down then you can pull the backing to have some access to the boot.

No arm rest present - maybe this was in the UK models or from blob eye onwards? Either way the problem is sorted now and a valuable lesson learned

The bugeye STI wagon has fold down rear seats as I have these in my wagon, however there are only 5 sets of these in the country according to DVLA

that's why I said 'try to get some to fit' as in 'see if you can modify them to fit'

I'm sure with some work they could be made to fit
