I am sure that many of you will be pleased that I am writing my final post on the Scoobynet.
Having been on the chat tonight it finally made me realise that some cars seem to attract a certain type of person that I just cant click with.
I must say that I have found it mostly very usefull and it has helped me to resolve the many problems that I`ve had with my own car.
BUT when I am forced to put up with total crap from people who think they know best from whatever articles they read or hear about it is time to stop for me.
I am fortunate to have experienced many cars in my time and can not be bothered to bore you all with my fading credentials.
I also must say that I enjoyed the track day that I was lucky enough to attend with a lot of other like minded people.
I tend to make my own opinion on things and people in life based on my own assumptions.
I have met a few really nice folk on here(Stef,Harj,Andy O,Ian W,Mike R,Blow dog and you know who you are if I forgot you) but alas I think I`ve also met some knobbers
I honestly believe that a lot of you need to get something else to do in your spare time like get a wife and maybe have some kids so you can really put your lives into perspective.

I suspect Arron will be back after a while, he's said this sort of "I'm off" thing before, gone away for a bit and then started posting again after a while.

Don't go Arron, it is in the genetic make up for geezers to take the pi55. On this BBS you will find some that sit mostly on the fence, poking now and again to manitain the pi55 taking momentum and you will find others who have large testies who sit up front going hammer and tongs. Ignore all and have a laugh at others and at yourself. There are thousands of MUPPETS on here including myself...I posted a NON-SIDC meet as a favour and had to quickly whack me flame suit on. Take it on the chin and **** em all.
Don't worry, b happy. You got bods, just relish in the fact that statistically some of these muppets will never be able to have em

If some one has pissed you of then I agree that your comments should be made but directed at those individuals. To say alot of people on here need to get a life and live in the real world I feel insults more people than you have intended me for one, I read your post and immediately felt somewhat aggrieved, seems to me youre preaching one thing then jumping on the boat and offending alot of people who have done you and no-one else any harm, maybe an apology to the rest of us before you leave!!!

Well I was in chat last night, so I know what Arron is talking about. It was getting extremly tedious. However, there are two sides to every story and it would seem from an outsiders point of view, sitting on the sidelines that Mr Bird was giving as good as he got

Just my humble opinion, no doubt 'll be shot down in flames... I wouldn't let it bother you too much Arron, you'll always find people who want to argue for the sake of it.

If so, then it I'm sorry to see someone feeling the need to leave because of it. It's all just ***** waving at the end of the day and there will always be people with a faster car then you, unless you are the driver of Thrust SSC, so do try to keep things in perspective.

Be honest with yourselves, when was the last time *you* or anyone else you have seen, thraped the nads off your car on public roads to prove who was the fastest? Just about everyone's car on this BBS will reach 60mph in a seriously quick time and will top out at over twice the legal limit.

I was in chat last night and I assume I'm one of the people Arron is aiming this at.

I'm sorry he feels this pi55ed off about it, but it seems it's fine for him to give it, but not for him to take it.

From my part, it was all in jest, as most of my bull5hit is.

It would be a shame if he doesn't post anymore as he can be one of the more entertaining characters.

Isn't the whole point of chat to take the **** and indulge in some banter?

You go in there, have a laugh, wind each other up, maybe ask a couple of questions if somebody clever is about (unlikely )and forget about it when you log off.

Other members of the BBS have posted these types of posts before, saying that the to55er (as you put it!!!) percentage has increased on the BBS.

Trouble is if people leave because of the so called (to55ers) surely your letting them take over and win?

I missed all the fun yesterday but suffice too say that it must have been a big off to get Birdy this pi55ed. I know him better than anybody on here and he can take it as well as dish it end of story. I can only assume that who ever was invloved in the wind up must have taken it a tad far (or said something totally ludicrous, that would be a first on here ) to get him biting but he'll be back to annoy a few more of you before long. I personally guarentee it.
